preparedness freak

Being LDS you hear to have a year supply of food and prepare for every needful thing. And then there are people who think your nuts if you have anything in a #10 can. What is a #10 can? Okay I have a family of 7 and a #10 can will feed us and leave lunch for the next day. So it really isn't that big! The Red Cross is now recommending a 96hr kit. So maybe if the people effected by Katrina may have been better off if everyone had a 96hr kit. WE have a 72hr kit for each member in our family and take little walks with them. Sure even in an LDS neighborhood I bet people think we are nuts. Hmmm, maybe we are. And I'm okay with that.
